In our efforts to explore pathways for economic diversification we decided on three strategic focus areas

We chose these because they each offer strong opportunities driven by the transition to net zero. These themes also have the potential for synergies and efficiencies across them that allow us to focus on potentially strong business case opportunities overall, and to build capabilities and invest in relationships in a targeted and undiluted way.

Our work started with an initial focus on repurposing coal mines, and has extended to a broader range of projects that support the Just Transition.

Some of our projects are novel and require early prefeasibility testing, while others may explore new business models of mature technologies.
